For nearly five years, James Rogers has been a key part of the Texas First Rentals team, serving as a Haul Truck Driver with an unwavering dedication to safety, reliability, and customer care. Throughout his time with the company, James has consistently ranked among the top drivers in the organization according to Samsara, our fleet management and safety tracking technology. His recent back-to-back 100% DOT inspection audits speak volumes about his attention to detail and professionalism on the road.
James is more than just dependable — he brings a positive attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile, whether he’s supporting a customer or lending a hand to a teammate. “Being a valued employee that my manager and coworkers can depend on is something I’m really proud of,” James shared. “Having a good manager makes it easy for me to be the best I can be.”
Leadership for James comes naturally. He views it not as a title, but as a daily commitment to doing things right and supporting others. “I try to be someone people can come to with questions, and I’ll help guide them without hesitation,” he said. “For me, values mean honesty and being someone others can trust.”
Outside of work, James is just as focused on what matters most: family. Whether he’s cheering on his kids at school events, heading out to waterparks and arcades, or exploring new adventures, his loved ones are always by his side. “When I’m not at work, you’ll always see my family with me. They are what keep me going.”
James also enjoys working on cars and giving back to his community by helping neighbors when he can — an extension of the same helpful spirit he brings to the job each day.
